The cottage

Relax and immediately feel at home in this rustic, cozy family cottage. Tall cathedral ceilings promote airflow throughout the storey and a half bungalow. The cabin is complete with original beams and restored floors adding character and warmth. Large windows in each room allow you to feel that you are truly immersed in the landscape. 

With 3 bedrooms and pull-out couch, the cottage comfortably sleeps 6 to 8 people. At 1200 square feet, there is more than enough space to comfortably accommodate your group.

 

Living Spaces: 

Bedroom 1: double bed, 2 dressers, closet (windows feature removable blackout curtains)

Bedroom 2: double bed, dresser, bedside table, closet

Bedroom 3: double bed, dresser, bedside table

Great Room: large living room, seating for 8 people, large stone fireplace, view of the lake, pull-out couch (double bed)

Dining Room: large dining room table (seats 8), buffet, view of lake

Kitchen: large kitchen, ample counter space and cupboard storage, ceiling fan and wood stove. Features an eat-in breakfast nook. Refrigerator/freezer, oven/stove, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, electric can opener, waffle iron and all dishes, cookware, utensils provided.

Screened-in Porch: spacious seating area with a lake view, just inside the front door. Features an additional fold-out couch to provide another summer sleeping area.

The Property

Set on 9 acres of private land, the cottage sits on a gentle slope close to the water's edge. The shoreline features a private dock perfect for jumping in and swimming, as well as a sandy beach for gradual entry or fun for the little ones. The southern exposure allows for all day sun and colourful sunsets.  The waters of Partridge Lake are spring-fed, clear and pristine; an ideal spot for a cool dip or an afternoon paddle.
